The FCIA Program Committee is pleased to invite you and your associates to the FCIA Annual Meeting, New Orleans, LA in early November. Our meeting, themed "Advancing the Technical Knowlege of the Firestop Contractor", will be a value to you and your firm.
The FCIA Annual Meeting will include sessions on firestop spray equipment and hand tool use, Perimeter Fire Containment discussions, a panel discussion on the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, (JCAHO), FCIA Committee Reports and Meetings. The Meeting fee includes the FCIA Banquet on Thursday night. An FM "DRI" Test will be administered on Friday afternoon. For those not attending the test, a session on "How to get FM Approved" will also occur.
Call the hotel today for room reservations (limited number available - you must make reservation before October 15) and book your flight now. Then, fill out and submit the online form (or fax back its print-out) registering for the meeting and activities. FCIA's meeting will be held at the New Orleans Marriott-Renaissance Hotel, 888-364-1200. Rooms are under the "FCIA or Firestop Contractors International Association" name, Association Rate - $189/night. Transportation: Taxi - about $24; Airport Shuttle - $10 (504-522-3500 for the required reservations).
