The Oryx Rotana
13-15 October 2015

The FCIA Fire & Smoke Barrier Firestop & Effective Compartmentation 'DIIM' Educational Symposium is a full-day interactive learning and networking event for professionals who support and are interested in the Firestop Industry.

Firestopping and Effective Compartmentation are critical elements for the safety of building occupants worldwide. Comprehensive understanding of the ‘DIIM’ of Firestopping, as well as thorough knowledge of Fire Walls, Fire- and Smoke-Rated Barriers and Smoke Partitions, ensures correctly installed Firestop and Effective Compartmentation Systems.  This, in turn, results in greater reliability of the installed Firestop Systems for improved Fire and Life Safety, compliance and leadership.

When Firestop Systems are installed by Specialty Firestop Contractors who practice the the 'DIIM' of Firestopping - proper Design, Installation, Inspection and Maintainenance/Management - the reliability of Firestop Systems as a component of Effective Compartmentation is improved.

Join FCIA Members and other like-minded, solution focused individuals at The Oryx Rotana, Doha, Qatar on 13 October 2015 for this highly informational Event.

Hear from the top industry experts about key fire-resistance rated construction and maintenance programs that - when installed to the tested and listed System and manufacturer instructions by aproved or qualified Firestop Contractors, and then maintained and managed by Facility personnel -firestopping helps keep people safe in all types of buildings.
