This ASTM Certification will be very different from and is a compliment to the FM 4991 and UL Qualified Firestop Contractor Programs, as it focuses on Individuals.

5/10/11: FCIA attended IAPMO's Plumbing Code Hearings last week in St. Louis. It seems the industry is addressing FCIA concerns well.

5/01/11: ICC's International green Construction Code Hearing Monograph, is 1900+ pages. Why can't firestopping and fire resistance rated assemblies be considered green? FCIA will attend the hearings, week of May 16-20 to understand how.
